Andrian's motivation to start Deep Roots Energy came from many different areas of his life. He has a civil engineering degree from the University of Saskatchewan, and he made a focus on soil mechanics. Throughout school, he extensively studied topics such as urban planning, wetland remediation, and sustainable energy practices.

He spent every summer working for an environmental geological engineering firm in Saskatoon where he learned how test soils, monitor sites, and drill holes. During this time, he saw firsthand the damage done to the soils and ecosystems (almost always unintentionally) by the people who live there.

Fueled by the desire to not only provide people with sustainable energy alternatives but also educate and convince others of its benefits, he created Deep Roots Energy.

Currently, we provide solar and geothermal services but it is our hope that in the future we will expand to provide a large variety of sustainable energy sources while also offering funding for green initiatives around the province.
